Zareh Zatikyan, Esq
In your corner…
Zareh Zatikyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia, and has lived in Los Angeles since the age of one. He attended UCLA where he obtained his BA with honors. Mr. Zatikyan attended the University of La Verne College of Law where he graduated in the top 7% of his class. He passed the California State Bar exam on his first attempt in 2011.
Mr. Zatikyan is a CA State Bar Certified Specialist in the area of workers’ compensation, which has been his primary focus since 2012. He spent several years on both sides of the litigation arena – representing injured workers, as well insurance carriers and employers.
Mr. Zatikyan is an aggressive and experienced Trial attorney and has recovered millions of dollars for injured workers. He has litigated several Trials on both sides, including several “Take Nothings” on the defense side.
The focal point of Mr. Zatikyan’s practice now exclusively consists of representing injured workers (called “Applicants” in California). With thousands of hours under his belt representing the insurance companies, he has the knowledge and experience to anticipate the defendant’s strategy, usually before the defendant does!
They say the best criminal defense attorneys were once prosecutors. Similarly, Mr. Zatikyan believes that his experience as a defense attorney gives him and his clients an advantage in the litigation process.
In his younger days, Mr. Zatikyan was an amateur boxer, and he brings some of the lessons he learned in the ring into his cases: always protect yourself; be on the offensive; anticipate the opponent’s next move; counter attack; go for the knockout or win the decision.
